Northwest Neurology’s on-site licensed clinical social workers offer outpatient-based
counseling services for older adults. Our counselors are experienced with neurological conditions
and can assist patients and their care partners with developing healthy coping skills as they
navigate multiple sources of stress. Our goal is to help patients and families improve their
emotional well-being.

The providers of Northwest Neurology accept most insurances. Click here to see the most current list. All patients are encouraged to verify their benefits with their plan administrator by referring to their insurance membership card for contact information. If you have an HMO plan, please make sure that you have the proper referrals required by your plan. Please note we do not accept Medicaid plans.

Danielle Hellios is a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. She has extensive experience working with older adults living with dementia and other neurological diseases. She also has significant expertise in leading individual and group counseling sessions for patients, families and care partners. Her warm and personable communication style is an asset to those learning to navigate the challenges of a neurological illness. The services she offers are designed to elevate quality of life and help all involved feel supported and informed.
