Karim R. Nahra, M.D. was born and raised in the Chicago area. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois. He performed his medical internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He then completed Neurology residency at the University of Iowa, where he stayed for an additional fellowship in clinical neurophysiology. Prior to joining Northwest Neurology, he practiced surgical intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring and went on to practice primarily inpatient-based neurology.
Karim R. Nahra, M.D. is Board Certified in Neurology. His interests include stroke, epilepsy, neurologic manifestations of systemic disease, sleep medicine, as well as the history of neurology. He enjoys hospital-based neurology and prides himself in empathic care of all his patients and their families.
